Associate Attorney Sam Dixius joined Cooper, Adel, Vu and Associates, LPA in 2022.
Sam graduated from the University of Kentucky in Lexington with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2017. While he was at UC, Sam was a student fellow with the Ohio Innocence Project where he received the Clarence Elkins Award which recognizes the team that “demonstrates the most diligent advocacy and working together to right the injustices suffered by the wrongfully convicted.”
Before joining Cooper, Adel, Vu and Associates, Sam worked for Southeastern Ohio Legal Services and Disability Rights Ohio representing low income clients and clients with disabilities covering a variety of civil issues ranging from housing, domestic relations, and disability discrimination related issues. Sam represented clients in litigation and court proceedings, administrative hearings, and negotiations.
Sam grew up and continues to live in Columbus, Ohio. When he’s not at work, Sam is running, reading, or getting outside for a hike.
