Elaine Brooks

Associate Attorney

“Estate planning is a gift with many benefits including preserving assets, avoiding probate, and avoiding unnecessary taxes. Ultimately, it’s about peace of mind. Helping our clients achieve their goals and provide these priceless gifts is the most fulfilling part of my job.”

Elaine Brooks joined Cooper, Adel, Vu & Associates, LPA as an Associate Attorney in 2023. As a client, you can expect her to bring a unique perspective to your estate planning based on her knowledge of probate and trusts. As a member of our Trust Team, Elaine’s role is to guide you through the planning process, taking into consideration your unique concerns about your family, your health, and your money. Helping you understand how your plan works for you to protect your assets through illness, incapacity, and death is the key to real peace of mind.

Attorney Brooks received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. She is a member of the Dayton Bar Associate Estate Planning & Probate Section and the Ohio State Bar Association Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Section.

After moving around the country from Denver to Great Falls to San Jose and Atlanta, Elaine settled in Xenia with her spouse, children, and two dogs. Two of their three children are attending The Ohio State University. The third is an elementary school teacher and a graduate of Miami University. Elaine has a passion for helping others and currently volunteers at a non-profit clothing outreach and her local church. In her spare time, Elaine is an avid reader and traveller. She and her family enjoy traveling to Lake Huron and many other places, nationally and internationally. They also enjoy spending time with their children, playing games and binge-watching Netflix.
