Associate Attorney Courtenay Hart joined Cooper, Adel, Vu & Associates, LPA in 2023 as a Law Clerk and was promoted to Associate Attorney in 2024. Attorney Hart meets with clients to present a detailed explanation of their prescribed estate plans. In the process, she assists clients and their families in making important, but often difficult, end-of-life decisions.
From a young age, Courtenay has been passionate about helping others make a difference in their lives. She has channelled this passion into her daily work with clients at Cooper, Adel, Vu by promoting and encouraging challenging but necessary conversations with our clients to individualize their estate planning efforts.
Attorney Hart graduated from the University of Dayton in Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree, studying Criminal Justice Studies, Sociology, and Social Work. She received her juris doctor from Capital University where she worked at the Family and Youth Advocacy Center serving as a legal resource for current and former foster youth, youth involved in the juvenile justice system, and youth experiencing mental health and developmental difficulties.
Courtenay is originally from Wheaton, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago, and currently lives in Grandview, Ohio. In her spare time she volunteers at local organizations, plays pickleball with friends and family, and reads true crime.
